Yonit Kosovske performs on modern and historical pianos, harpsichord, and chamber organ. As a keyboardist, artistic director, and educator, she maintains an international career as a soloist and collaborative artist on repertoire spanning the Renaissance through Contemporary music. Originally from the United States, Yonit moved to Ireland in 2011 when she was appointed Lecturer in Music on the faculty of the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, where she is Course Director of Keyboard Performance on the MA Classical Strings Performance Programme. Yonit holds a Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, a Master of Music from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts. Yonit’s book “Historical Harpsichord Technique, Developing La douceur du toucher” was published by Indiana University Press in 2011.
